wear this: little white dress with a statement shoe

While I was engaged, I bought a few white dresses to wear to the various wedding-related events. Luckily, a little white dress can be worn in many ways and is a great staple to have in your closet. After seeing them pop up on some of my favorite sites as well fabulously styled by these bloggers, I was inspired to wear my little white dress for the first time since my engaged days.

Katie’s Bliss ash’n’fashn

Just like the ladies paired their LWDs with a funky shoe, I decided to wear mine with a bold black lace-up pair to offset the ladylike cut of the dress. A loose-fitting blazer and some oversized sunglasses and I was good to go. I loved the contrast of the sweet feminine dress with the edgier accessories. Though I was scared having too many LWDs in my closet would be a bad thing, looks like I can make use out of those dresses after all.
