I’ve had my eye on the Helmut Lang Crux Leather Blazer for more than a year. But with a $700 price tag I couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger (even typing that number hurts.) Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I randomly spot this Alice + Olivia Hartley leather sleeve blazer.
The similarities between the two are uncanny. Alas, this blazer was priced at $550 so still way out of my price range. That is until now! It’s currently on sale for the much lower price of $137.50! And it’s real leather! While I would love to splurge on the Helmut Lang piece one day, the sale was too good to pass up. I took it as a sign from the shopping gods to finally purchase this versatile piece.
