have a happy weekend

After a busy holiday weekend spent in Tahoe, this one will definitely be more low-key for us. Considering our apartment is overflowing with laundry I have a feeling a good chunk of Saturday will be spent cleaning. Other than that, we’ll be attending a family party on Sunday and hopefully booking our next vacation, a destination wedding in Bermuda!

I’m probably a bit late on this but I recently discovered the song “Next To Me” by Emeli Sandé and I love it.  

Prince Harry has a new girlfriend apparently. Sigh. I think a fair share of the world (including me) will be disappointed in this news. 

I’ve only been married for about nine months but I completely agree with Lydia Netzer’s points about how to have a successful marriage. I will definitely go back to this and read it to remind myself during trying times.

This article in T Magazine caused quite an uproar. Here’s a great response from a newly-discovered blog for me, The Man Repeller.

Whenever Refinery29 does a product roundup or really any slideshow, I want to purchase everything they feature. These products all look fantastic.
