Like the millions of others that watched the Oscars on Sunday night I was paying close attention to what everyone was wearing because well, it’s the Oscars! It’s one of my favorite activities and my husband joked that watching all the pre-show coverage is like a sporting event for me. What can I say? I’m a lady who enjoys fashion.
I came across this amazing infographic on Pinterest and it was fascinating to look back at the different styles best actress winners have worn over the years. On a random side note, I swear during the coverage I remember hearing that wearing red was a sign of bad luck because there have been very few winners who’ve worn red to the Oscars and this infographic completely corroborates that statement. Myth or fact? Who knows. Either way, clearly fashion was just as important then as it is now.
