see this: barcelona, spain

In the summer of 2011, my husband and I traveled to Spain. We stopped in three cities including Barcelona. It was my first time in Spain and I was so excited to see this bustling city. Though we only had 3 days there we made the most of them! I would love to go back and spend more time there but I’m happy I at least got a small taste of this great city.
I was surprised to find out what a busy place it was! I felt like I was in New York at points walking along La Rambla, one of the best known boulevards full of shops, cafes and the amazing La Boqueria market. We also visited the phenomenal Segrada Familia, the still-unfinished cathedral with stunning architecture, as well as the cheeky Park Güell.
We did a Fat Tire Bike Tour of the city which allowed us to see a lot in a short amount of time. (I’ve also done the tour in London and Berlin and loved it!) Another highlight was drinking large amounts of sangria, it was awesome 🙂 Highly recommend visiting this city!

I've never been to barcelona, but it's on the bucket list! And thank you so much for recommending these tours! We are going to London/Paris in the fall and will definitely have to do it in one or both of the cities! 🙂

OMG Asia and I spent 4 days in Barcelona this past summer and loved it! It was super hot and such a busy city. We totally loved the Sagrada Familia and the Park Guell. Loved the food and sangria of course! And the Boqueria was amazing. All your photos totally brought me right back there. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! PS totally showing this post to Asia.

Yes the Fat Tire tours are so much fun! The guides are all young and you even stop for lunch and drinks in between stops. Can't wait to hear about your trip when you go! 🙂
